We went to bed around 9:00 pm here and slept until 3 am or so. For some reason then all of us were up and could not sleep for an hour or two. It would have been 9 pm in the US by then, so actually close to real bedtime, but we could not settle down. Finally, we all got back to sleep and slept solid until after 9:30 in the morning, the boys actually slept til 11:00 am (5 am in US)!! We're still tired, but sooo much better!
Baby Marion is so cute! Also, the boys enjoy Lina the dog.

We decided to just go downtown Kiel today. We took a nice walk along the Fjord, close to where the cruise ships leave from. Also walked around the Altstadt, shopping district.

We ate at the Kieler Brauhaus, so of course Daryl and I had to try a local Bier! Ben had a Bratwurst (of course), and Alex ate a Frikadelle, which is a very common German quick food- it's a bit like a burger patty, but tastes more like meatloaf. Anyhow, when I said "Good job, Alex, you ate your whole Frikadelle" it sounded like a bad word, so we got a good laugh out of that one!! You really do pronounce it just like "frick-a-della".
